The Old Testament Foundation of the Magisterium
Lecture Description
In this lecture, we begin the Biblical foundations of the Catholic Magisterium by exploring how the figures of Moses and David laid the Old Testament foundations for the New Testament teaching authority structure. We demonstrate that Moses' authority was passed on in succession and that it endured unto the first century. We also show the significance of the House of David and the role of the royal steward.
